Just sold my piano today in Barcelona. She was a beauty and I played her in more than 20 cities throughout Europe for the last 3 months. The end of my European journey is near. What makes this even more amazing is that I return home to #NYC: one of greatest cities on earth.
The cops that took my money yesterday ended up being pretty cool after we paid them. The one on the right wants to meet up when he comes to visit NYC. They even helped me put the piano into the replacement van. #carbrokedown
Waiting for the train to Valencia with @fallon_ashlee. Day #1 without a car. I’ve been dealing with the rental car company in France to try and get us a new car in Spain. This is our last week in Europe.
In the event your car breaks down on the side of the highway in the middle of Spain… Do not call the Police! They will throw infracciones in your face! Do not worry. All is well and being taken care of, I am safe and sound.
Playing piano in Barcelona was another great time except for the police who almost arrested me because it’s ‘Prohibido’ in the main tourist area.
Barcelona is one huge artistic celebration! This is a place where everyone comes to and says “I’m going to live here one day”.
