I decided to throw down the song Hava Nagila as a festive way to end the evening at Governors Ball 2012.
This is my first time playing at a big Summer Festival. I didnt really know what to expect so we threw stuff at the wall and just jammed. Everything we did was completely improvised without song order or planning.
This was the moment the rain began. And it started with a drizzle, but after about 10 minutes of that it poured so hard my underwear got wet!
I sometimes like to drop this song whenever I’m around people who know the Notorious BIG. He’s not one of my biggest inspirations, I just dont think many people have done this song the way I do it. This is The Notorious BIG- Big Poppa.
Fun times at Governors Ball 2012
Played piano in the rain last night for the first time! No doubt about it, it was THE MOST INTENSE PIANO PLAYING OF MY ENTIRE LIFE.
We had hundreds of people dancing to our jam. People were going nuts. And at the same time it was raining!! I usually stop when it starts to rain, BUT WE JUST KEPT PLAYING. AND THE PEOPLE JUST KEPT DANCING!
By the end, the rain was so hard there was no way we could have kept going! Haha.
People really loved it though. They all came up to me and said how much fun it was.
Oh and also…. I have to see if my piano is still playable…
